VP of Architectural Control (ACC)

Welcome to Rockwall Ranch! The primary goal of the Architectural Control Committee (the ACC) is to assist current homeowners and lot owners, as well as prospective owners, with your design and construction of projects that require ACC approval prior to project commencement.

These projects include new home construction, as well as walls, fences, outbuildings (such as sheds and detached garages), decks and patios.

Essentially all construction requires the submission, and ACC approval, of plans that detail the size, materials and location of the project in relation to the established set-back requirements in the Covenants.

The Covenants (which you can read and print off this website) allow the ACC up to 30 days to review and comment on plans. Beginning February 1, 2012, the ACC will begin reviewing plans twice a month. These review dates will be on the 15th and the 30th of every month. If there are issues with the submittal, we will suggest ways to amend the plans to conform to the Covenants. We are not traffic cops or building inspectors, but fellow homeowners that want to make your construction experience less stressful and hopefully enjoyable.

We have found that good communication is the key to success with construction projects. We will be very happy to discuss your plans with you, or answer any and all questions you may have during your plan development.

In order to submit anything to the ACC, the following forms, and pertinent information, will need to be submitted: New Home or Other

Please note: In order to reduce the delay in reviewing plans, please make sure the plans include the setback measurements from all lot lines, the driveway dimensions, and overall height of the home, along with all of the other necessary items that are identified in the New Home form. Also, in the interest of space, please submit all plans electronically.
